Tom Ferreri recently spoke at the Kentucky Self-Insurers Association, Inc. annual seminar in Louisville.  The seminar, which ran May 13-14, promoted self insured programs and provided assistance and information to its members. Ferreri and Landon Overfield, Cheif Administrative Law Judge, addressed the legislative and case law updates portion of the seminar. Ferreri specifically focused on cost-drivers within the workers compensation system and covered frequently asked questions by adjusters and risk managers. Additional topics at the seminar included: physical therapy guidelines, recent work comp decisions, AMA guides, self insurance renewal guidelines and employment law.
