Biography:

I began my legal career as an attorney with the Special Fund 1978-1982; then as an Associate and later a partner in Mills, Mitchell & Turner, 1982-1989; and finally as one of the two original founders of Ferreri & Fogle, PLLC.  I have authored all or a portion of multiple publications on workers’ compensation law and labor law for the University of Kentucky, and have given presentations on Kentucky workers’ compensation at over 70 seminars since 1978 through 2008.

Honors and Awards:

Rated AV.  Louisville Magazine Best Workers’ Compensation Lawyers, 2008.  Inducted into the American Bar Association’s College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers in 2008. 

 

§  1991 – 1994 - Appointed by Governor Wallace G. Wilkinson as a member of the Petroleum Storage Tank Environmental Assurance Fund Commission.

§  1998 – 2002 - Appointed by Governor Paul E. Patton as member of the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Nominating Commission.

§  2002 – 2006 - Re-appointed by Governor Paul E. Patton as a member of the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Nominating Commission.

§  2006 – 2010 - Re-appointed by Governor Ernie Fletcher as a member of the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Nominating Commission.
